            <content:encoded><![CDATA[YEREVAN, MAY 13, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Central Electoral Commission (CEC) ratified at its 5:00 p.m. session the initial results of the yesterday’s parliamentary elections. Basing on the results of the voting in the polling stations, the CEC registered that from 2 million 316,038 people 1 million 389,521 participated in the elections.

The established 5 percent barrier was overcome by the Armenian Republican Party which has received 457,032 votes, “Prosperous Armenia” party which has received 204,443 votes, Armenian Revolutionary Federation which has received 177,192 votes as well as Orinats Yerkir and “Heritage” parties which got 95,256 and 80,890 votes respectively.
